Nursery Hours
Trinity's Nursery is available in the basement of the Church during the 9:30 service each Sunday. We can begin receiving children by 9:15.

Welcome!

We would like to tell you a little bit about our our Nursery and our talented Nursery staff.

We have three separate Nursery Rooms and Programs, one for Infants, one for Toddlers/Pre-School and one for Kindergarten through 2nd grade. We feel that, as these age groups are in different developmental stages, it is important to provide care and learning opportunities that are age appropriate for each.

During the service, right after the Gospel reading, the children are brought upstairs to the Church as a group for a 'Childrens's Message' from our priest. They will then be returned to the nursery (unless other arrangements are made with the parents to keep them upstairs).

Later, the children are brought upstairs and returned to their parents preceding the Lord's Prayer being said and just prior to the Communion itself.

If a child is experiencing problems or becomes ill, the parents are notified and the child may be reunited with his or her parents (especially if ill).

Parents are welcome to visit us in the Nursery at any time.

We are thrilled that Anne Wanke is directing the programming for our youngest parishioners.  Warm and welcoming by nature, Anne is a certified educator and has been a substitute teacher in the Janesville School System for many years.

In our Nursery, Anne is assisted by XX who has been an integral part of our Nursery for X years.  Together with a team of trained, thoughtful, kind volunteers, they are there to both nurture and to engage your child.  All are required to be graduates of our Diocesan 'Safeguarding God's Children' training and adhere to additional child safety procedures. Once you have dropped your child off, you can relax knowing that your child will be in good hands.  We hope that this knowlege allows you to more ably participate in church life at Trinity.

Anne and our entire volunteer Nursery staff look forward to meeting your family and showing you around.  Whether you have been coming to Trinity for years, or if you are visiting for the first time, it is our goal to make the Nursery at Trinity Episcopal a warm, welcoming, and wonderful place for your child!

Please feel free to be in touch with Anne if you have any questions.
