The Sunday School hour is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn and explore in a fun and loving environment.
We have an exciting array of Christian Education opportunities appropriate for every age. Classes begin September 17, 2017
Take a look at the offerings below and, when you arrive on Sunday, look for the Christian Education table in Ortmayer Hall. At the table, you'll find more information about all the classes for children and adults, as well as some helpful people to direct you to the location you're looking for.
We look forward to seeing you in class on Sunday!

36 months through five year oldsLocation: Worship Center Classroom
Leaders: Marlene Roessler and Julie Westby
The Worship Center classroom is where our youngest children begin learning about their Christian faith. The teachers use the Bible-in-Life curriculum for preschoolers which presents a Church School experience that is alive with activity, creativity and learning.Children learn Bible stories through interactive storytelling, create craft projects with increased independence, and apply the story theme to their own lives.
Early Grade School
Location: Worship Center Grade School Rooms
Leader: Kim Davis
Kim shares - "Our course of study this year is learning the church seasons and what each season of the church means, i.e., Pentecost is a time of fellowship and renewal, etc. We will be talking about how we carry this into our weekly lives. In conjunction with that we are studying the twelve Apostles, who they are and what role they played in carrying the message of Jesus. Each week we read and talk about the Gospel."
"The goal is that, by Easter, the children will have an understanding of the life of Christ and His chosen messengers, while also learning to apply those messages to their daily lives."
Grade School/Middle School
Location: Youth Room
Leaders: Jenna Elliott and Kim Kitzman
Jenna shares - "We are utilizing David Cook's ‘Blueprint’ series as the student component for our classroom curriculum. It features weekly Bible studies, articles for the Bible lesson, and Daily Faith Devotionals for high schoolers to engage their faith throughout the week. The cirriculum also includes quizzes and fun pieces filled with relevant topics and intense graphic appeal. We have essential teaching tools to go with the Teacher's Guide. It's a perfect resource to initiate discussions between teens and parents, or teens and their friends, as well as for facilitating in-class study.
We also hope to do some youth fundraising and refurbish Trinity's Nursery during this school year"
Children will join their parents in Ortmayer Hall at the conclusion of the Sunday school hour.
