Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
If you are interested in becoming more involved in the musical offerings of Trinity, there are numerous opportunities.
Choirs at Trinity are open to anyone desiring to sing, regardless of church or school affiliation.
The Trinity Choir
As the oldest 'Vested Choir in the West' (since the 1850's) and open to all, Trinity's Choir is responsible for vocal leadership of traditional liturgical music at most Sunday 9:30 AM services and other special services throughout the year. Rehearsals are on Sunday morning at 8:00. (beginning Sept. 11)
The Trinity Praise Band
Open to all, Trinity's Praise Band is responsible for vocal leadership of contemporary music at the first Sunday of each month at the 9:30 AM service from September through June and other special services throughout the year. Rehearsals are on the Saturday prior to the band performing at 9:00AM. (beginning Sept. 11)
Trinity's Summer Music
Although the core of the summer music is by individual or groups of Trinity Choir members, all are invited to participate.
The Music Ministry
Monetary gifts to our Music Ministry fund special music and musical events throughout the year.
The Trinity Choir is often joined by strings, brass, percussion, soloists, and other guest musicians who further contribute to a rich and glorious Sunday morning experience.
For more information on any of Trinity's music program, please contact Thelma Wilcox, Organist/Choirmaster, at 754-3402, or by email(mail [at] trinityjanesville [dot] org).
