Wednesday Noon Services

12:00 Noon - Prayer Garden (Weather Permitting) or Trinity's Indoor Chapel

Chapel On Wednesdays at 12 noon, the faith community gathers outside for Holy Eucharist in the garden chapel, surrounded by a canopy of vines that remind us of the living faith we follow. The stone altar points to our ancient Celtic roots, wedding nature with the creator that made both the earth and all living things. The service is a brief thirty minutes long and if inside, during colder and wetter weather, we may occasionally sing some hymns (with the help of our pipe organ or piano).

Chapel

Our indoor chapel is a part of Trinity Church’s indoor worship space and our original marble altar, dating back to 1848, is used.

Our history lives on and our faith is not limited by time or numbers. Come join us!

Common Questions about Confirmation

What is Confirmation?

Confirmation is a sacrament of the church and is an adult profession of one’s faith. While it is often undertaken separately from the sacrament of Holy Baptism, Confirmation actually completes the baptismal rite and involves a public affirmation of faith and the laying on of hands by a Bishop.

What’s involved?

Join us as we delve into all things fundamental to the faith! Over the course of five weeks, we’ll discuss everything from basic Christianity to Episcopal worship and the sacraments, from church history to polity and structure. We’ll consider the importance of the Bible and the Prayer Book in our common lives, as well as take a spiritual inventory to discern our gifts for ministry. We’ll consider the Baptismal Covenant and how we are all called to Christian action and mission.

Who can attend?

The class is open to ALL—those who want to receive the sacrament of Confirmation; those wishing to be Received into the Church (already Confirmed in another branch of the Christian Church); candidates for Reaffirmation; those who want a refresher course; and to seekers and those who simply want to learn more about the Christian faith and the Episcopal way.
